The one-liner
A low-cost Skool practice club where Latin learners read, listen and speak with a veteran teacher.
What they actually sell
All Roads Lead To Latin, run by John Ricard, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "The online practice community for Latin." Membership costs $5 a month. The tagline does the work: learn anywhere, practise here. Living Latin Live runs every Wednesday with comprehensible Latin stories, and Colloquium Latinum on Saturday mornings is a spoken conversation session. A classroom holds stories, readings and music, and daily challenges keep people using the language. John Ricard brings 20 years of teaching, a background as an AP Latin teacher and comprehensible-input practitioner, and his Latin Fluency courses. The page promises no perfect Latin is required. Inside sit 11 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.
Who pays and why
Latin learners, from beginners to classicists, who can read the language but never get to use it. The pain is isolation, because almost nobody around them speaks Latin. They pay for weekly Living Latin Live lessons, Saturday conversation sessions and daily practice.
Where the members come from
John's existing Latin Fluency and Living Latin Live work, plus his website and social profiles, are the obvious feeders. The community reads as the practice room for an audience he already teaches. Two early reviews praise the live conversation.
What's holding it back
A price this low means the business needs a lot of members to pay for weekly live teaching, and Latin is a small pond. Two weekly live slots also tie the value to one teacher's calendar.
Steal this
Position the community as the practice room for a skill people learn elsewhere, so you never compete with courses or apps.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for any classical or minority language, such as Ancient Greek or Irish. Weak for big languages where conversation partners are easy to find.

Reviews
Éva Raposa
“Where else can you have LIVE conversations in a supposedly "dead" language? There are hours and hours of recorded lessons, and I feel pretty strongly that this is one of the best places available for support in learning Latin. But more importantly, finding FUN and JOY in the learning! (even my teen agrees!) John Ricard has been teaching for decades and is more passionate than ever to share this. I can highly recommend this as a space to geek out, learn, and enjoy the practice of Latin.”
