Steal this

  • 2 paid tiers: one price for access, another for proximity. Worth copying once you know which members want more of you.
  • The price is only shown after you click through. Hiding it is a choice: it filters for people already sold on the owner.

Teardown notes

The one-liner

A Skool training community for climbers who want finger strength, fewer injuries and a clear weekly plan.

What they actually sell

Rock Climbing Performance, run by Collin McGee, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "Climbing training, templates, program breakdowns, lessons, and monthly Q&A's with a pro coach." A free tier sits at the front door, with Premium and VIP upgrades above it. Collin McGee runs Rock Climbing Performance as the home for his C4HP paid courses, so course buyers get access, and others can join a minimum membership for the extended content, resources and monthly AMAs. Lessons cover building finger strength, total-body strength, reducing injury risk and creating a weekly training plan that fits climbing goals. Collin invites members to message him directly. Inside sit 7 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.

Who pays and why

Climbers who feel stuck, inconsistent or unsure how to balance climbing with training. They want to get stronger without getting hurt. They join for training templates, programme breakdowns, lessons and monthly Ask Me Anything sessions.

Where the members come from

The Skool lander and Collin McGee's own teaching appear to be the main acquisition path. Public social links are thin on the about page, so growth reads as community-led rather than a giant media brand. Exact follower counts stay off the about page.

What's holding it back

The free, Premium and VIP levels are not explained, and tying the community to separate course purchases makes the offer harder to read. Direct messages to the coach will not scale.

Steal this

Use your community as the home for course buyers, so every course sale also grows the room.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for any sport with injury-prone training, such as running or gymnastics. Weak where the coach has no courses to bundle.
