This is the fastest-growing category in the index, and the most uneven. It covers AI automation, agent building, no-code tooling, vibe coding and general software skills.
The genuinely useful communities are run by people shipping things: they post working templates, broken workflows and the specific reason an integration failed. The weaker ones repackage model announcements as insight. Because tooling changes monthly, recency matters more here than anywhere else, and a library of tutorials built on last year’s tools is close to worthless.
Many communities in this category also sell the outcome rather than the skill, promising client work or an automation agency. Treat those claims with the same scepticism you would apply anywhere else, and judge the room on whether members are actually building.
