The one-liner
A Skool movement coaching community for runners over 40 who keep getting the same injury.
What they actually sell
Durable Runner, run by Heather Gansel, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "For runners over 40 who want to keep running." A free tier sits at the front door, with Premium and VIP upgrades above it. Dr Heather Gansel, a retired chiropractor turned sports performance coach, says the cycle ends when you fix the movement pattern rather than the spot that hurts. Free members get the first Wednesday live session of each month, the first lesson of five movement programmes, Swim to Run Faster, an AI gait scan, a 27 running tips guide and training roadmaps from 5K to 100K. She has worked with over 2,000 runners and is clear this is coaching, not medical care. Inside sit 19 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.
Who pays and why
Runners over 40 caught in a cycle of rest, stretch, return and reinjury. They want to still be running at 70 and have been told to just stop. They join for movement programmes for hips, knees, feet, calves and low back, plus live sessions.
Where the members come from
Heather's Fix My Pain Naturally YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook and Ask Doctor Heather website are the feeders. Follower counts are not shown.
What's holding it back
The free tier gives only the first lesson of each programme and one live session a month, and the paid tiers are not spelled out. The slug still refers to chiropractors, which does not match the runner brand.
Steal this
Give a taste of every programme for free, so members find the one that matches their pain and upgrade for it.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for cyclists, tennis players or hikers over 40. Weak for younger audiences.
