The one-liner

A free book club celebrating Jamaican and Caribbean authors.

What they actually sell

Rockaz Book Club is run by Michael Sean Harris and is free to join. Members get a private community space and chatroom, guided discussions led by facilitators, live streams and meet-the-author virtual events. It is framed as a celebration of Caribbean literature, culture and identity. What stands out is how directly the page names the result a buyer wants.

Who pays and why

Readers who love Caribbean literature and culture. The pull is sharing stories that feel like home with people who get them. They join for a private community space, guided discussions, live streams and meet-the-author events. The emotional pull is being around people chasing the same thing, which matters as much as any single lesson.

Where the members come from

Michael Sean Harris's name is on the Circle page, so members most likely come from existing work, clients and followers rather than cold traffic. The page itself links no social channels, which suggests growth comes from an audience built elsewhere. Michael Sean Harris stays the visible face of the brand on the page.

What's holding it back

Free entry is generous, but the page shows no path to income to keep it going.

Steal this

Bring members face to face with authors, so a book club feels like an event.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for any culture-led reading group, such as African literature. Weak for general readers.
