The one-liner

Nick Holt's free SQL learning community for people upgrading their data careers.

What they actually sell

Learn SQL for Free, run by Nick Holt, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "Join our happy community of SQL learners, all working towards upgrading their data careers." It is free to join. Data lives in databases, and you need SQL to coax it out, manipulate it, apply filters, perform calculations and prepare it for analysis or reporting. Inside sit 2 courses. The public page keeps the promise practical and specific rather than vague networking talk.

Who pays and why

Builders and operators who feel behind on AI and do not want another tool graveyard. The fear is peers shipping while they still prompt in circles. They join for proven workflows and a practice room for applied AI. Learn SQL for Free is sold as a place to do the work with others, not to collect another login.

Where the members come from

Nick Holt's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and website presence appears to feed the room. The Skool community reads as the member back end for people already drawn to that work. Exact follower counts stay off the public page.

What's holding it back

AI rooms age in weeks. If workflows go stale, members who paid for edge will leave.

Steal this

Sell AI community as weekly workflows members can run, not a tool directory.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for other applied AI practice communities. Weak for prompt dump channels.
