The one-liner
A low-cost Skool study hub breaking down English law for A-level, LLB, PGDL and SQE students.
What they actually sell
Lawsessions, run by Jennifer Housen, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "English Law Study Community." Membership costs $10 a month or $100 a year. Jennifer Housen, a barrister, attorney and legal educator, runs weekly drop-ins by subject: Contract, Criminal, Tort, Public Law, Land Law, and Equity and Trusts. Members can chat through tricky topics, ask questions and stay accountable alongside other students. The promise is to make law simple, structured and stress-free across A-level, LLB, GDL and SQE study. A yearly option sits beside the monthly plan. Inside sit 12 courses. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.
Who pays and why
Law students who find textbooks dense and need someone to explain the principles in plain English. They want weekly help and accountability before exams, without paying for private tutoring. They pay for weekly subject drop-ins, live sessions and study resources.
Where the members come from
Jennifer's Law Sessions website, YouTube channel and Facebook page sit behind the room, so Skool is the low-cost membership for students already using her free material. Subscriber numbers are not shown.
What's holding it back
A very low price means it needs many students to pay for weekly live drop-ins across six subjects, all run by one tutor. Exam seasons also make membership seasonal.
Steal this
Run drop-ins by subject on fixed days, so students know exactly when to bring each problem.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for medicine, accountancy or any syllabus with fixed modules. Weak where the subject has no exam pressure.
