Teardown notes
The one-liner
A Skool learning community helping busy clinicians judge AI in healthcare in 30 minutes a week.
What they actually sell
Health Tech Ethics Community, run by Dione Rogers, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "Make sense of AI in healthcare." The paid door is Standard at $9 a month. Premium sits above that. Standard gives full community access, a newsletter, monthly 30-minute In Focus masterclasses, Coffee Break sessions and two learning classrooms. Premium adds The Floor, full access to courses and classrooms, practical resources and replays. The HTEC Lens frames the method as understand, evaluate and influence, covering safety, governance, bias and implementation. The promise is deliberately light: no AI expertise required and no endless webinars, with 100-plus members across eight countries. Inside sit 17 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.
Who pays and why
Time-poor healthcare professionals who are being handed AI tools faster than they can evaluate them. They pay to feel competent and safe making calls about evidence, bias and governance. They pay for monthly In Focus masterclasses, coffee break sessions and a framework for judging new technology.
Where the members come from
Dione Rogers's LinkedIn presence appears to feed the room. The Skool community reads as the member back end for people already drawn to that work. Exact follower counts stay off the public page.
What's holding it back
Clinicians already get free AI updates from employers and journals, so the paid case rests on the framework and the peers. The gap between the two tiers is also hard to read from the page.
Steal this
Cap the weekly time ask in your headline, because busy professionals buy a dose they can fit around shifts.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for lawyers, accountants or teachers facing AI in their work. Weak where the field has no strong ethics culture.
