Notes

Teardown notes

The one-liner

A business brokering school that doubles as a daily feed of off-market businesses for sale.

What they actually sell

Business Brokering MasterClass is run by Michael Steinberg. The front-page promise is "2,000+ businesses for sale. Buy, broker, or refer deals with exclusive access, live coaching, and acquisition resources." The public offer sits at $79 a month. The page promises one off-market business every day, plus a portal it values at $297 a month included free, and training on earning 10% commissions. Inside sit 5 courses. The page does not spell out a money-back promise.

Who pays and why

Buyers with capital and would-be brokers who want deal flow. The pull is seeing deals before anyone else and earning commission on them. They pay for a daily exclusive listing, a deal portal, weekly coaching and contract templates.

Where the members come from

Michael Steinberg links out to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and a website from the page. That points to members arriving through free content first, then paying once they trust the voice behind it. Michael Steinberg's profile line reads: "CEO of the Fastest Growing Small Business Advisory Firm."

What's holding it back

Two audiences, buyers and brokers, share one room. Their needs differ, so the content can feel split.

Steal this

Give members one exclusive deal every day, so the habit of checking in is built into the product.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for any deal-based market, such as commercial property or domain names. Weak where supply is thin.
