The one-liner
A Skool AI learning movement focused on Black opportunity, ownership and financial freedom.
What they actually sell
The Black A.I. Movement, run by Andre Thomas, lives on Skool. A free tier sits at the front door, with Premium upgrades above it. Andre Thomas runs a free door with the community, starter courses and the first part of Master Claude, AI Influencers and AI Agency. Premium adds the second part of each, music and business courses and a Sunday evening build lab. Topics include Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, music, websites, apps, content, information products, agents and automation. The page states that software costs extra and income is not guaranteed. Inside sit 25 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.
Who pays and why
Black adults, many new to AI, who want to use it for careers, creative work or business. They want to make sure the AI shift becomes opportunity rather than another gap. They join for starter courses, the second parts of key courses and a weekly build lab.
Where the members come from
The Skool lander and Andre Thomas's own teaching appear to be the main acquisition path. Public social links are thin on the about page, so growth reads as community-led rather than a giant media brand. Exact follower counts stay off the about page.
What's holding it back
Splitting each course into a free first part and paid second part can feel like a cliffhanger, which may frustrate new members.
Steal this
Give the first half of each course free and put the second half in premium, so the upgrade is obvious.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for any community-led skills movement, such as women in finance. Weak where identity is not part of the draw.
