Notes
Teardown notes
The one-liner
A premium community for writing online and building a business with AI, led by known online writers.
What they actually sell
AI Writing Skool is run by Nicolas Cole & Dickie Bush Support Team. The front-page promise is "Everything you need to start writing online & build a business around your ideas (while using AI the RIGHT way)." The public offer sits at $99 a month. The page highlights Monday Hot Seat live call w/ Nicolas Cole. Inside sit 20 courses. The page does not spell out a money-back promise.
Who pays and why
Writers and creators who want to build a business around their ideas. The worry is being left behind as AI changes writing. They pay for a custom AI model trained on the hosts' content and weekly hot seat calls.
Where the members come from
The Skool lander and Nicolas Cole & Dickie Bush Support Team's own teaching appear to be the main acquisition path. Public social links are thin on the about page, so growth reads as community-led rather than a giant media brand. Exact follower counts stay off the about page.
What's holding it back
A high price and a big value claim set high expectations. The live calls need to stay strong to back them up.
Steal this
Train an AI assistant on your own teaching and give members access as a core benefit.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for any creator with a large body of content. Weak where the host has little material to train on.

“This group is the solution to procrastination. Before I joined I posted once a month. Now I post daily. That in itself is a miracle. But then add the group and other members and group admin and co founders and you have yourself a vibrant interactive community. We have access to all their best materials and to keep us learning there are boot camps and skill sprints every month. If you want to get cracking on your writing, this is the place to be. See you inside?”
